These two need a duets album. Tony winner Lea Salonga shared at After the Storm, a benefit for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philppines, that she and Glee’s Darren Criss have quite a history with the Aladdin classic they were about to sing together. Of course, Salonga was the singing voice of Jasmine in the Disney film, but she also joined forces with Criss and performed the number back in 2011 to pay tribute to composer Alan Menken...and at a West Village piano bar last year during an impromptu jam session. On June 15, with considerably less alcohol in their systems (we presume), the two reprised their performance at Washington D.C.’s Kennedy Center for the one-night-only concert.
